2017-2018 KEHA Reports – It is time to submit KEHA program of work and volunteer service unit reports! County reports WERE due to area chairmen by August 15, 2018. Area reports are due to state chairmen by September 15, 2018. Be sure to use the forms dated 2017-2018. Fillable PDF files are available on the reports page. New this year - - Area Chairman have the option of submitting the area reports electronically. The report survey are available at this link.
New KEHA Food, Nutrition and Health Chairman – Julie Hook, Carlisle County KEHA member, has been appointed to complete the current term as KEHA Food, Nutrition and Health Chairman. The KEHA board directory posted on the website has been updated to include Julie’s contact information. Area chairman should mail area Food, Nutrition and Health reports to Julie at 74 County Road 1021, Cunningham, KY 42035, or submit electronically as noted above.
2019 KEHA State Meeting - Mark your calendars for the 2019 KEHA State Meeting to be held May 14-16 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville. The lodging room block is open for reservations. The room rate is $114 per night + tax for standard rooms and $139 to $189 + tax for suites. To reserve by phone, call 1-888-233-9527 and request the KEHA rate. Reservations may also be made online, and the link is posted on the KEHA website State Meeting page.
2019 KEHA State Meeting – Learning Session Proposals – Learning session proposals for the 2019 KEHA State Meeting are due by October 15th to Sharon Wood, KEHA 1st Vice President, 11 Cindy Ann Avenue, Campbellsville, KY 42718. The form is in the KEHA Manual Appendix. KEHA members are encouraged to consider presenting a learning session at the state meeting next year!
KEHA VSU Program Enhancements – On July 1st, enhancements to KEHA’s Volunteer Service Unit Program took effect. A new feature story on the website provides an overview and additional information about these changes. Resources available include a 17-minute video overview, a handout outlining the changes and the full description of the VSU program. NEW KEHA Logo – Please remember that KEHA now has a new KEHA logo and information is available via the website. Graphic files are available to FCS agents/Extension staff through the Family and Consumer Sciences Extension internal web page. Branding Guidelines are coming soon.
KEHA Merchandise – As you plan for fall events and activities, please keep in mind that KEHA has logo merchandise available for purchase. All items currently in inventory are each $5 or less. View photos of the marketing items and access the order form on the KEHA website under the Marketing & Recruiting tab. Items with the new logo will be available later this year.
