KEHA Reports for 2019-2020
Last call for 2019-2020 KEHA reports! The online Program of Work surveys remain open for county submissions, but data compilation will begin September 1st. The web based surveys are available on the reports page.
County Volunteer Service Unit summary reports should be submitted via email attachment this year. Please use the Excel files linked on the reports page to create the Individual Hours Summary and/or Club Hours Summary. Save the files with the county name in place of xx and submit via email attachment to kehainfo1@gmail.com. A copy (either printed or electronic) should also be sent to the area president and area leadership chairman for purposes of area level recognitions.
Questions regarding the reporting process can be directed to your Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences or be submitted via email to kehainfo1@gmail.com
COVID 19 Guidance for KEHA Meetings
In mid-July, KEHA President Karen Hill provided an amended guidance document related to KEHA meetings during COVID-19. This guidance document is available in the Quick Links on the KEHA website. It follows the current Kentucky group size limit of 10 people or fewer.
KEHA Facebook Page
The KEHA Facebook page is a good way to stay connected with the state organization. Three post series are currently running on the page: Virtual Scavenger Hunt, Cultural Arts Category Spotlights, and KEHA Board Member Spotlights. Current news and announcements are also posted to the page. Find the page online at www.facebook.com/OfficialKEHA. Like and follow the page – and encourage other members to do the same!
Coverings for Kids
KEHA is participating as a partner in the Coverings for Kids Initiative in Kentucky. As shared in early August, the goal of the initiative is to provide face masks for school to help ensure the health and safety of students and staff. Details are available via the KEHA web page in a special story about the Coverings of Kids Initiative. Please check with your school district to find out local needs and details as you implement this project. If you have donated or are donating masks to a local school district, we invite you to email a photo and information to kehainfo1@gmail.com. We will be posting “shout outs” on the KEHA Facebook page.
KEHA Club Materials
The 2020-2021 KEHA Recreation, Inspiration and Book List are now available at www.keha.org under the Member Resources tab in the top menu. One copy for each club has been shipped to each county Extension office.
KEHA Manual Updates
Please be sure you are using the most current KEHA Manual. The Handbook, Appendix and Organizational Guide were fully updated this year. All three are available on the KEHA website via Member Resources tab, KEHA Manual page. Two printed copies of the Handbook and Appendix were mailed to each county Extension office in early August. The Organizational Guide is available online only. The individual web pages for the KEHA Educational Chairmen have also been updated and provide access to the most current Handbook and Appendix pages relative to the specific chairmanship. Please be sure you utilize the updated Manual, with all pages dated June 2020 or July 2020 in the lower right corner.
