The Kentucky Extension Homemakers Association (KEHA) annually offers two unique scholarship opportunities. Applications are due by March 1, 2019.

The Evans/Hansen/Weldon scholarship is open to high school seniors or current Kentucky college students pursuing a degree in a family and consumer sciences discipline. This include dietetics, family sciences, family and consumer sciences education, hospitality management, human nutrition, retailing, textiles and more.

The KEHA Homemaker Member Scholarship is awarded to a KEHA member. To be eligible, a minimum of three years membership is required, and the individual must be working toward a first degree or certification. The field of study is not restricted.

Applications must be submitted to Karen Yerkey, KEHA Leadership Development Chairman, at the address specified on the website. Award notices will be sent in late March.
