Apply Now for the KEHA Member Scholarship or Evans/Hansen/Weldon Scholarship
The Kentucky Extension Homemakers Association (KEHA) annually offers two unique scholarship opportunities. Applications are due by March 1, 2021.
The Evans/Hansen/Weldon scholarship is open to high school seniors or current Kentucky college students pursuing a degree in a family and consumer sciences discipline. This includes dietetics, family sciences, family and consumer sciences education, hospitality management, human nutrition, retailing, apparel and textiles and more.
The KEHA Homemaker Member Scholarship is awarded to a KEHA member working toward a first degree or certificate. To be eligible, a minimum of three years membership is required. The field of study is not restricted.
Details for both scholarships, along with links to the specific applications, are available on the scholarships and grants page. Applications must be submitted to Karen Yerkey, KEHA Leadership Development Chairman, 6992 Hwy 1740, Hardinsburg, KY 40143-6182. Award notices will be sent in late spring.
