2020-2021 KEHA County Reports – The county KEHA Program of Work reports and VSU reports are being collected electronically again this year. Links to surveys for each of the eight educational chair program of work reports are now online, along with Excel spreadsheets for use in preparing and submitting the VSU reports. Access the details on the “Reports” page on the website. The annual deadline for submitting county reports is August 15th. With this date on a weekend, the online surveys will remain open for an additional week.
2022 State Meeting – Please mark May 3-5, 2022, in your calendar and plan to attend the next KEHA State Meeting to be held at the Owensboro Convention Center. The theme is “KEHA: We Have You Covered.” Licking River Area will serve as the host area. The lodging room blocks will open for reservations later this summer and details will be added to the KEHA website.
KEHA Census Quilt at the Kentucky State Fair – The 2020 Census Quilt created by KEHA in the fall of 2019 will have a featured display at the upcoming Kentucky State Fair. The quilt will be in the South Wing Lobby in a special display with the 2021 grand champion quilts. The booklet providing details about the quilt will be available for fair visitors to review at the nearby State Fair Information Desk. A Note from Karen Hill, KEHA President
I just want to thank every KEHA member who had a part in making the NVON Conference such a great success. Sharon Wood did a fabulous job of planning the meeting, but we could not have done the job without our KEHA members. Whether you made favors or centerpieces, introduced speakers, helped with tours or anything else you each played an important role. For those of you who came to the conference thank you because whenever we needed help on anything you pitched in whether it was your assigned duty or not. We got great evaluations from the conference and many words of appreciation from the attendees. We make a great team, and I am so proud to be a member of KEHA. Photos from the conference are available on the NVON website at https://www.nvon.org/conference-photos/.
