2016-2017 KEHA Reports
It’s time to submit KEHA program of work and volunteer service unit reports! Club reports are due to county chairmen by July 1, 2017. County reports are due to area chairmen by August 15, 2017. Area reports are due to state chairmen by September 15, 2017. Be sure to use the forms dated 2016-2017. Fillable PDF files are available on the reports page.
NEW KEHA Website
Have you visited the KEHA website (www.keha.org) recently? A new site launched in mid-June, and the overall appearance has been enhanced. Check back frequently to view the most recent features. Visit the “Chairman Info” section to access the latest program of work information from each of the eight state educational chairmen. An updated KEHA State Board Directory has been posted to the “State Board” section, and the KEHA Manual has been updated in the “Member Resources” section.
Welcome Jennifer Williams
In May, KEHA announced plans to appoint a Marketing and Publicity Chair to serve a three-year term as a member of the KEHA State Board. Welcome Jennifer Williams, Grant County KEHA member, to this new position! Jennifer is excited about this new role and is making plans to identify needs related to marketing and address those needs with new resources. Jennifer’s contact information is included in the board directory post on the KEHA website.
KEHA Club Materials – The KEHA Recreation, Inspiration and Book List are available at www.keha.org under the “Member Resources” tab. Printed copies have been mailed to county Extension offices.
2018 KEHA State Meeting
Mark your calendars for the 2018 KEHA State Meeting to be held May 7-9 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville. The lodging room block is open for reservations. The room rate is $109 per night + tax for standard rooms and $129 + tax for suites. To reserve by phone, call 1-888-233-9527 and request the KEHA rate. Reservations may also be made online, and the link it posted on the KEHA website under the “State Meeting” tab.
2017 KEHA State Meeting - Learning Session Proposals – Learning session proposals for the 2018 KEHA State Meeting are due by October 15 to Sharon Wood, KEHA 1st Vice President, 110 Cindy Ann Avenue, Campbellsville, KY 42718. The form is in the KEHA Manual Appendix. KEHA members are encouraged to consider presenting a learning session at the state meeting next year!
KEHA Nametags
Counties now have a new option to order KEHA nametags for leaders. Extension offices can order through Southland Printing, the designated vendor for nametag purchases. The order form is accessible to Extension agents via the college marketing resources web page.
