2016-2017 KEHA Reports

It’s time to submit KEHA program of work and volunteer service unit reports! County reports WERE due to area chairmen by August 15, 2017.  Area reports are due to state chairmen by September 15, 2017.  Be sure to use the forms dated 2016-2017. Fillable PDF files are available on the reports page.

2018 KEHA State Meeting

Mark your calendars for the 2018 KEHA State Meeting to be held May 7-9 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville. The lodging room block is open for reservations. The room rate is $109 per night + tax for standard rooms and $129 + tax for suites. To reserve by phone, call 1-888-233-9527 and request the KEHA rate. Reservations may also be made online, and the link it posted on the KEHA website under the “State Meeting” tab.

2018 KEHA State Meeting – Learning Session Proposals – Learning session proposals for the 2018 KEHA State Meeting are due by October 15 to Sharon Wood, KEHA 1st Vice President, 11 Cindy Ann Avenue, Campbellsville, KY 42718. The form is in the KEHA Manual Appendix. KEHA members are encouraged to consider presenting a learning session at the state meeting next year!

Update from the Center for Courageous Kids

Thank you to KEHA members for your ongoing support for the Center for Courageous Kids! A few groups have toured the Center recently, and others have volunteered. Volunteers are needed several Tuesdays this fall to assist with preparing for weekend family retreats. View the flyer at http://keha.ca.uky.edu/files/hk_vol._fall_2017.pdf and consider volunteering! Please keep in mind that CCK has an ongoing need for colorful pillowcases and for twin-sized sheet sets. Donations of quilts are always accepted as well.

An Evening with John Maxwell

John Maxwell has long been regarded as a leadership expert. The Matthew Mitchell Foundation is bringing Maxwell to Lexington for a special event on Tuesday, September 19. Tickets are $15 per person.
